Scientific Interests:

• forward and reverse excitation energy transport in disordered systems,
• fluorescence quenching in liquid and solid solutions,
• influence of aggregation processes of fluorescent molecules on fluorescence observables,
• fluorescence intensity and anisotropy decay in the presence of light quenching,
• influence of water structure on the rotational depolarization of fluorescence.

Scientific cooperation:

The scientific investigations of the Molecular Luminescence Division are partially carried out in the cooperation with:

• Division of Molecular Spectroscopy at the  Institute of Experimental Physics,  Gdańsk University,
• Chair of Physics and Biophysics at the Faculty of Food Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn,
• Center for Fluorescence Spectroscopy at the School of Medicine of the University of Maryland at Baltimore, U.S.A.
• Center for Commercialization of Fluorescence Technologies,  Department of Molecular Biology and Immunology, University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, U.S.A.
